Product Description

Application scope

The 7MF4-33 series SITRANS P-DS III pressure/differential pressure transmitter is suitable for liquid level measurement of pressure, differential pressure, absolute pressure, or non corrosive and corrosive gases, vapors, and liquids. The output signal is 4-20mA DC.

Transmitters with intrinsic safety and explosion-proof protection levels can be used in explosive hazardous areas (Zone 0), and the product has EC testing certification, meeting the corresponding European Community CENELEC standards and China NEPSI standards.

Capillary membrane sealed remote transmitters with different design types can be used in special applications. For example, measurement of high viscosity media.

The adjustment of transmitter parameters can be achieved on-site through the three input adjustment keys provided by the instrument itself, or can be achieved externally through the HART protocol. The basic parameters that can be implemented are listed in the following table. Other parameters used for special purposes can be adjusted through the HART protocol.

pressure

This type of instrument is used for pressure measurement of non corrosive and corrosive gases, vapors, and liquids.

Permissible measurement range from 1kPa (0.01 bar) to 40Mpa (400 bar)

Differential pressure and flow rate

This type of instrument is used for measuring:

• Differential pressure, such as changing pressure.

• Micro positive or micro negative pressure.

• Flow rate (for use with flow regulating valves)

• Non corrosive and corrosive gases, vapors, and liquids. The allowable measurement range is 100Pa (1 mbar) to 3Mpa (30 bar).

level

This type of transmitter with pressure flange is used for liquid level measurement of non corrosive and corrosive liquids in open and sealed containers.

The measurement range is from 2.5kPa (25mbar) to 500kPa (5bar). The nominal diameter of the pressure flange is DN80 or DN100, and the English system is 3 inches or 4 inches. When measuring the liquid level of an open container, the low-pressure side of the transmitter is vented to the atmosphere (measured using atmospheric pressure as the reference pressure). When measuring the liquid level of a sealed container, the low-pressure end of the transmitter is usually connected to the upper part of the tank to counteract the working pressure inside the container.

According to different corrosion resistance requirements, different materials can be selected for the immersion part

Absolute pressure

This type of transmitter is used to measure the absolute pressure of non corrosive and corrosive gases, steam, and liquid levels. There are two product series: one is the "Differential Pressure" series, and the other is the "Pressure" series. The "differential pressure series" has strong overvoltage resistance performance.

The allowable measurement range is 830Pa (8.3mbar) to 3Mpa (30bar).
